Kolb Friends –
I am selling a flight-helmet & intercom set, and I wanted to offer them first to folks on the Kolb List, before posting them for sale on Barnstormers.
This is a Comtronics Instruct-Com system, with 2 helmets and an intercom.
Year of mfr: 2003.
Helmets (2) are black – one size large, and one medium.
Intercom unit is a Dual-Com II, with individual volume controls for both pilot and co-pilot, and with a music input jack.
Includes all interface cables, including PTT.
Also comes with a special patch cord, which connects one helmet directly to your radio and a PTT (bypasses intercom).
All components are in excellent condition.
When I first began flying my Mark-3, I wore a helmet for the 40-hour Phase-I flight test period. Afterward, I began using regular headsets and have not used the Comtronics system since. The passenger’s helmet has less than 5 hours of use, total.
New, this set was nearly $700.
Will sell for $300.
