Kip, I watched it in full screen HD. Very nice video. HD is the way to go with videos now.

Very nice videos! There were some pretty gnarly bank angles in that
first video. I envy you guys, that have the skills, to feel safe
doing that at such a low altitude. Nice flying! The older I get the
more conservatively I fly. What`s with that? Lanny FSII

Hehe. I had it wound up pretty good just so he would not pass by too fast during the slow flight...

Kip,
I agree, great videos. That looked to me like Stone Mountain on the horizon after take-off from the RC field. I lived in Atlanta most of my adult life. At which airport do you base your airplanes?
If you are old enough and have been in Atlanta long enough, you might remember Gunn Field in Lithonia where I got my primary flight training in 1966, about 5 miles south of Stone Mountain park. It closed in mid 70s I think and was built over with houses or apartments.

Thom, I keep the planes at Monroe. That was Stone Mountain to the west and the RC field is next to Alcovy Mountain. I have been in ATL since 1996 so I don't remember Gunn field...
