I'm going to need some 12v outputs on my 24v electrical system and I ran across these.

Does anyone have any first hand experience with these?

Why not consider using two 12V batteries in series and take 12v off one?

This has been tried . . . and never works. The batteries
become 'unbalanced' with the top one being over-charged
and the bottom under-charged.
