Hi all, just setting up the rudder pedals in their tufnol bearings & trying to figure out how you hold the whole lot steady whilst marking out the bolt positions on the unfixed floor !!!!! ?????? Any ideas ? Thanks in advance Paul Munford XS Tri, kit 692

Hello Paul
Two or three small dobs of car bog (Bondo, Body Filler) stragetically placed will hold the floors rigid. From memory, if you have the floors nicely shaped and fitting well, they tend to sit where they should anyway. Note it is very important that both floors are in the same plane otherwise the tufnol bearings will not align properly.

Paul,
If it´s any help:

I found that whatever you do, the blocks will NOT align properly. Any micrometer off in positioning or torsion will block the whole lot. Trial, error, and a lot sanding and fitting are the recipe.
