also I just saw  john hauk  and dick reyhill on the video LOTS N LOTS if planes and jets

  if you want to use the threaded one you will have to weld the fitting in to your Exhaust pipe  The one with 

   the clamp 

 can be a pain the clamps break once in a while but the threaded ones can be a problem also once you have it installed  the probe 

   swells up enough so that it will not come back out of the fitting  however they both give good readings
