List:

I am building the first 701 wing and have a question.

The plans (drawing 7-V-5) call for 1201 mm between the flaperon arm
sets. My inboard (#1 & #3) ones are 1199 mm apart (measured at the
moment arm). Is this OK? #4 and #6 are 1210 mm apart but this could
be reduced by about 7 mm by reversing #4 to outboard and #6 to
inboard instead of what the plans call for. (Much of the difference
is due to the arms not being strictly vertical but rather leaning
away from each other). Note the flaperon arms can easily be leaned
inward toward each other to achieve the 1201 called for in the
plans. What would you recommend or should I just modify the
flaperons when I build them to correlate with the measurements I have
on the arms?
