I notice on occasion the EIS will warn fuel pressure is outside normal parameters on the high side. For example it will read momentarily 8.8 psi and then go back to normal. My suspicion is the EIS fuel pressure sensor is going bad since the mechanical fuel pump should never supply pressures that high. Has anyone else ever had this problem? The engine sounds like it is running perfect and I don't notice a change in fuel flow either.
Thanks,
Barry

I had that same problem and traced it to a bad ground. On mine it would only happen when I had several things turned on. Check to see if it changes depending on the electrical load. If so, check the ground between the engine and the point where the eis grounds.

The permanent vibrations can harm the fuelpressuresenders mechanics.I attached mine with a soft rubbermount.
