Opened the cowling on the CJ and smelled gas. Plane has been sitting for two days since last flight. I put my hand on the metal plate where the air box attaches to the base of the carb and it was wet with gas on the right side. Dried it off and it reappeared in a few minutes. Not dripping on the ground. Plane left with fuel shutoff in open position, full lean and throttle closed.
I can't imagine this is normal. Any comments would be welcome.
Thanks

Talk to Jill or Carl at M-14P - they will tell you what the problem
might be.
