By any chance does anyone know the thread size of the plug on the bottom of the stock CJ fuel tank?

FWIW, Doug Sapp sells a conversion kit for the gas collator that puts a Cessna fuel sump where you can drain off any water... I know that's not exactly what you're asking but if where you're headed is to install a way to sump the tanks, that's one way to get there.

and I tapped my own on the header tank.
