 I have copied this to the Team Grumman  list.

 The Jaguar is an engine cowling that was made  available thru an STC about 2 years ago. It was developed by Gary Vogt who has a  website and a Grumman oriented discussion list.  There is a sign up link for the discussion  list on his website.

 The Jaguar is differnet than the LoPresti in  that the LoPresti is actually only a nose bowl replacement and not an entire  cowling like the Jaguar is. It also includes a complete set of superior aluminum  engine baffles. The Jaguar was a needed part as many of the factory cowlings are  gettig beyond repair and there were no new replacements available. But the  Jaguar is really much better than the original factory cowl as you  can gather from reviewing it on Gary's website. I think it took about 10  years for Gary to get the Jaguar approved with countless changes over the years  of development. It greatly enhances the cooling, speed and looks of the  Tiger.
