Hi guys and ladies, I am building a KOLB Firefly and researching what to do for asn engine and with the rotax 447 going for up to $5000 I have been poking around and I find that I can buy running some with electruic start rotax 377 engines and whole snow mobiles for $2-4hundred dollars ! My question is are these the same 377s we ultralightists used on our aircraft? Do they have the same bolt holes to bolt on gear boxes etc.?Are they the same cases.?I dont know anything about the 377 as Instarted out in 1990 and bought a new 503 for $3200Sence the are not making anything samaller than the 5t82 anymore these engines are going to get more expensive.
