Two years ago there was much discussion on the Thread about the 601XL(B) mods and the need for additional flutter testing.  That seemed to me a reasonable idea at the time and as I recall some builders suggested independently financing the testing to put fears to rest.  At that time we committed to donate $750 to Zenith towards the testing. Since that time Zenith has not only hired a test pilot to flight test the 601XL(B) but also in the last Zenair News we see an excellent report on the 601XL(B) ground flutter testing done in Dec. 2011.  This gives us further assurance about the safety of our airplane and we commend everyone at Zenith  for their continuing integrity.

That's useful but that's the 2009 European ground testing of the 

601XL before the mods.

I think a new post-mod set of testing results is what people are looking for?
