Anyone know PF someone that can fabricate the 5 mm cables with metric 5mm threaded ends for the 50.

Give them a try. I used them to replace all of the push / pull cables
in a custom CJ.

Roger,Try the McFarlane company. They built one for me years back but could not thread it as they did not have metric dies. I have them here so that was not a problem. Outside sheath is simply copper tubing available in any hdw store.
