Stuck in Moutrie GA again, feels like we have done this before. Anyway storms cutting off FL again so here we sit hope it clears up later. Smooth trip so far, last 40 miles in was a tower hunt while we ran low. The new Garmin 796 is mind blowing, very cool.

You guys in florida ever have good weather?

Nick

We've got great weather. It's the weather in between that is the problem.

Have a wonderful day,

Hey Nick: I did not fly this morning, but it was clear with visibility over 10 miles and a light breeze out of the SE. Now it is 81 degrees with 3-4000 broken (tops are probably about 8000) and a SE wind of 10-12 mph. Do not confuse the weather in Northern Florida/GA with the great weather we have here. That is why I always try to fly nonstop from Frostproof to SYI, or vice versa, and go around, over, or thru that stuff in the middle. (I do not like going under, but sometimes there is no choice) Often a flight route through SC & down the coast will do the job, or sometimes it is necessary to talk to JAX to find the best way around/through the stuff.
We obviously await your arrival.
Lynn
