Rick,
Yes but for several reasons. One is it will cut the crap out on you in the normal course of the build. Second, although it's not as prone to stress cracks as aluminum, smooth the edges to prevent any chance of stress risers. You can be much more aggressive than aluminum. I've found Dremel sanding barrels and carbide cutters work well. Time spent smoothing these edges will save many bandaids and painful steel cuts over the long run. Just my humble advice, worth everything you paid for it. Very Happy
