I remember a while back someone in the USA offering a repair kit for Yak52 main air pop-off valves.
I think it involved super-glue somewhere along the way...

Can anyone remind me where to get the kit from please (I'm in the UK).

My valve has been playing up recently - sometimes only allowing the air to build to 3kg/cm, and at other times up the 6kg/cm (with associated worry from the person in the back seat)!

Any help appreciated.

Thanks

Nigel

Nigel,
Have you removed and replaced the pop off valve piston and possibly the
spring, if the spring is rusted or corroded? Both Jill at M14P and
Cliff Coy at Border Air in Swanton, Vermont sell the replacement pop off
valve pistons which have the seal. Not too expensive either.

Give it a try. I think it will fix your problem.
Dennis
