If you are planning on installing engine driven air conditioning and you are using an IO540 other than factory new, be careful to make sure that the pad for the compressor mounting bracket has the four mount holes, even better if it has studs. Not all do as we found out the hard way.
It isn't the end of the world if it doesn't. If you are having a core build-up they can machine the holes at the shop, but if it slips by that step, (as mine did), the holes will then have to be drilled in the field from a jig that is available.
According to Airflow Performance, two of us found ourselves in this pickle just this week.
