Has anyone modified a completed Europa Classic from normal baggage area
to increased baggage area? Is it difficult, time consuming, expensive?
I suspect this question has already been asked on this forum before. Any
tips on how to search archived discussion threads appreciated.

William,
Yes I altered my own aircraft a few years ago and I am right in the middle
of altering my daughters aircraft at this very moment.
It is a reasonably straightforward job if you did the build but the kit to
do it is very expensive for what you get.
The difference in the baggage volume is fantastic. For us the decider was
our first week long trip to Spain where we constantly had baggage in the
original Classic bay falling onto our heads. The new bay just swallows
everything we throw at it (bearing in mind weight & balance of course).

Did this during the build and no regrets. Also relevant to a previous question about folding bikes... Having done the mod I managed to 2 full size road bikes in the back - wheels, pedals and saddles off, and stacked wheel, frame, wheel, frame, wheel, wheel. Rear forks resting between the headrests, and all well tied down! Just about ok for weight and balance and made for a very enjoyable weekend cycling in scotland.
So.. recommended mod.
