What my DAR told me he found most were those things where we think "I'll do that later", then forget -- stuff like cotter pins, loose nuts (especially jamb nuts), missing rivets and safety wiring. The other thing is scrupulous attention to detail on your paper work. Some of the FAA guys and DARs care more about that than the airplane because the paper points directly to them.

Did you have any problems with the DAR. Did you do any thing special.
Any tips for me about planning ahead so I'll be able to do it?
Thanks in advance.
