I have been very busy lately and usually get to report on more of these. But heres is another first flight on a new LS1 the OAT was already near 100 degrees at takeoff around 9am. This is a brand new motor with .5hrs on it, zoom on in and check out the wonderful head temps. This is at the tip of climb over the airport.
All flew well as expected. Density altitude at takeoff was well over 3,000'. Will be flight testing over the next few weeks before delivery.
As all may know we had a big announcement at Sun N Fun this year. Come to the Oshkosh Fly-innto hear the next great step.

Nick,
Just what was the "big announcement" at Sun N Fun this year? I've kept and eye on the Website and waited patiently for the next Newsletter but still have no idea what the announcement was all about (? something to do with the tail?)
And now another "great step" to be announced at Oshkosh!!
Have I missed something?
Would be nice if the updated information was readily available to us past builders, either Website or Newsletter.
Cheers

We introduced a second generation horizontal tail design. There was a short write up on the web site about it. But the next newsletter is nearly finished and a 5 page article about it will be part of the content.
As for the next announcement we are waiting till Oshkosh for that one. But it isnt any new parts or big changes but something all current and future owners can use with out changing a thing
