Dan, I thought we had a scary thing when we had one stuck at 90% and had to
shut it on the B-47. We still had 5 left though.

FLAPS, DOGS, NAKED GRANDMOTHERS, You guys have not an idea of whats scary.
You should have to shut down an engine in a B52 --it will curdle your blood
to only have SEVEN left. )

I remember reading about a fighter pilot on bingo fuel being told to follow
a B-52 making the dreaded seven engine approach.

Folks,
Aaaaaaahhhh!! The dreaded seven engine approach.
Reminds me of the old saw about 4, v.3 v. 2 engines, EROPS, etc., and
a very grizzled old Captain, when questioned as to his views, said: "
When the Flight Engineer say --- Engine Failure No.6, Captain, I want
to be able to reply --- Port or Starboard".
Cheers,
Bill Hamilton
