Erich,
I have an EZ Pilot in Baby Blue, and am extremely pleased with it. It
tracks true and is very stable, even in severe turbulence. Installation
is quick and simple and fine tuning takes only a couple of seconds. I
chose the VDF display over the LCD, because I like the look better. As
long as your installation is not in direct sunlight, you'll have no
problems. You'll also find that you don't use the display much, anyway,
once you're finished settin up the unit...

Are there any folks out there who can contribute experiences with the above
mentioned autopilot systems? It seems to me that the solution of Navaid
Devices is rather sensitive to interference from communication receivers. EZ
Pilot is working with solid-state gyros instead of mechanical gyros and
offers connection to the Navaid AP.
Any recommendation as to the VDF display vs. LCD display of the EZ Pilot
Autopilot in a Europa Cockpit?
Any answer very much appreciated.
Erich, No. 91, still building (as can be seen in a very final stage!)
