I had a small leak at the hose fitting of the master cylinder. At a distant airport a good Samaritan helped me out as I now had no brake. Tightened up the fitting and put about a half once of fluid in and all was good. Except it was the red aircraft fluid. Worked good and got me home. I flushed out the fluid and refilled with Dot 4 and flushed a couple more times. All seems to be ok but I wonder if I messed up a seal? I believe the bad stuff was just up at the master because the line down was still full. The master only has a small "reservoir" so very little fluid is in there. The wrong fluid was in less then 24 hours. All thoughts and recommendations appreciated.
And if I need to rebuild where might I get parts?
Thanks
Jerry
