Hello all,

 Can anyone tell me the required com port settings for  the flydat downloader? The readme file says to set the baud rate (which I think  is bits per second ? ) to 38400, which I have done. But what should the data  bits, parity, stop bits and flow control be set at ? I have 8, none, 1 and none  at present.

  

 When I first tried to run the programme it asked me to  select the com port, but whatever I selected the computer crashed and I had to  reboot. Now it has stopped crashing but it says "cannot connect to serial port"  every time. I have tried com 1 to com 4 on the flydat downloader, and have also  tried selecting com 1 to com 4 on the com port properties advanced tab on  the computer but it always says it can't connect. I'm not sure if that is  because some of the other port settings are not right or because of something  else.

  

 Any help greatly appreciated.
