Oil pump overhaul

Hello dear List



a friend of mine would need to overhaul his oil pump particularly because oil is leaking in the drain kit (about five litters a week) 

does anyone knows if it is possible to overhaul an oil pump.

Didier,

       Yes it can be overhauled.  Contact Jill at M14P, jill(at)m-14p.com (jill(at)m-14p.com).        They will do a great job of overhauling and INCLUDING the shut off       valve internally in the oil pump, which is what is causing the oil       to drain when the engine is shut down.

The factory in Romania does it as well. They have an oversize valve they use

As Dennis and Rico mentioned, we will modify your oil pump checkvalve.  We convert it to a checkball assembly;  which provides for a better sealing surface and is less prone to debris issues. 

Cost is typically $200 – 250.00 with parts and labor.  Turnaround time is less than a week.
