I'm planning a trip to Perth, Western Australia in Oct/Nov (triggered by a long-standing invitation to a cousin's 60th birthday party) and wondered if I might bump into any Europa folk while I'm there.
Dorothy & I have a fairly full programme of touristy stuff planned later at Alice Springs, Cairns, Sydney etc but may have some free time in the Perth area before we go on.
If anyone in the Perth area wants to show off their aircraft (building or flying) to me, please contact me off the list. My cousin is threatening me with a 6-hour drive over to Busselton to see other relations so if I could wangle a trip there in a Europa instead ..........
If someone wants some (small, light!) Europa parts delivered from England to Australia I could possibly oblige (but nothing that's going to get me in trouble with the security guys!).

I once met the then rep, he was a guy from Guernsey I think who didn't like Perth and went home after a few months. Not Kevin though, did he take it on later?

Kevin still lives in Perth and as far as I know is still flying.
The Australian distributor was Jim McAvoy from before I became involved in Europas in 2000, until the current owner bought the Company. He still owns and is flying his Europa.
I will see if I can come up with current addresses and Phone Numbers for Rowland.

Are you flying yet? I was impressed with your Europa when I saw it, how many years ago?

Not flying yet. Still sanding and painting. Hope to be finished painting
before we head to NZ in November. Haven´t been back since the
Earthquakes so it will be very strange.
It must have been 2002 or early 2003 when you were over. I still have
photos taken at Arthur Stubbs´ BBQ.
