I only have one aux power supply (cigarette lighter) mounted under the instrument panel on the brace to the firewall. I only use it to charge my cell phone or iPad. Nothing stays plugged in.
Garmin 340 Audio Panel
2 Garmin 430's (no VOR connections)
Garmin 327 Transponder.
No need to plug anything in.

My splitter has about an 18” cord that runs from the socket to the splitter. The splitter sits under the passenger seat and the cords to various devices are taped to the side of the console so that passengers don’t get tangled up in them. None of the cords go with me when I leave the plane.

I have an Aera 550, an Ipad and a portable Intercom which all need power from the cigarette lighter. Has anyone installed multiple power outlets, where the existing outlet is? I currently use a three outlet adapter which keeps popping out just enough so as not to charge anything.
