Any suggestions for getting wire that has numbers on them or a reasonable way to put numbers on wire I already have. I need to stretch a few wires and replace even more.

Check barnstormers, I've seen several wire labelers listed. Also, you can purchase wire labor kits at an electronics supply.

Gary:
There are two ways home builders do it:
1 - Purchase a plasticized paper/label from Avery Labels and print out what you require and
2 - Use a stand or the above item and then use CLEAR heat shrink sleeveing to go over the printed label.
The choice is up to location - If out side the cockpit you can use the plastic label with clear heat shrink. If inside the cockpit then yo can get away with just either the labels plastic or paper. Of course plastic is preferred.
Of course you can use a BROTHER Label maker for the one'z and two'z along with the Clear Hear Shrink.

Ned, I see there is a Rhino 4200 that is half the price. Do you know anything about that one?

I wondered about the "thermal" part of it. Jeff was telling me about a company that does laser printing on the wire. Not sure what company or the price. Too bad this is so difficult and expensive.
