Maybe I missed it in earlier threads but did you know? On the RV weather website that if you put the cursor over the winds on the METARS page it immediately calculates the cross winds for the respective runways. For those that do not have the websit, here is the address: www.rvproject.com
For the tail draggers in the crowd this is a quick no brainer before aviating especially for the  50's with their 3m/s max X wind limit.
