Started new thread to stop thread drift about Hightower.

Followed the link from that post: http://www.thekathrynreport.com/2012/10/hensley-airpark-04tn-chuckey-tennessee.html?m=1

Notwithstanding the sensationalism of certain people interviewed at the scene ("I'm just thankful it didn't hit any of those [homes], because there could've been some fatalities, because it would've been awful," said Carter. ) it is pretty impressive that injuries were that slight given the description and the damage.

I hope we can get more information on what happened. It sounds like either the engine wasn't putting out full power or a departure stall with full flaps. Hate to speculate, so if anyone talks to those involved please pass it along.

Best wishes for the pilot's speedy recovery.

First i want to say that the people on board are in our thoughts and prayers.

Second, for now the only source of information is the NTSBs peliminary report on the FAAs website. Arion Aircraft has been asked by the NTSB to assist in the investigation to insure the saftey of the aircraft and its operators. The only comment that we can make at this time is that the aircraft was operating normally.

Please continue to keep the pilot and passanger in your thoughts and prayers

Thank you.
Nick Otterback
Arion Aircraft.
