Hello gang (assuming you are still out there...?)I am doing a trial fitting of the (CH601-HD) baggage floor. So far, everything fits nicely, rear fuse to centre wing, firewall, alignment, etc. I am a bit puzzled by the baggage floor: it seems to be about 20 - 25 mm (one inch or so) too long: according to the plans, the baggage floor should end at the continuation of the seat's back (or 6F13-3, same thing).
Did any of the HD(S) builders out there have to trim the from edge of the baggage floor?
I did a search of the archives, but did not find a similar case...
Actually, I found someone's post talking about a "perfect fit" (i.e., trim required only to fit the longeron curve).
Comments/suggestions?
(PS: hope everyone is safe out there.)
Thanks
Carlos

Here's a picture, might help explain the situation.

Carlos,
I don't recall having to trim 6F13-3. I reviewed my building log and photos from that time and there were no notes about having to trim 25mm from the front edge.

Thanks, Jerry - It seems I am in a unusual situation.Maybe the seat back angle is off... I sent a note to ZAC, as this could be a symptom of some major issue.. Carlos

Carlos,
When I go to the airport next, I will measure the baggage floor and see if I've removed some material from it. I know I had to make some modifications to rear turtle deck when I installed the front opening canopy, but I don't think I had to trim the baggage floor.
