Hi all. I have a Grand Rapids panel I am wiring up and they said the wing tip was the best location for the magnetometer. This would be difficult as I have already built the wing. Fuselage was suggested as long as I'm away from ferris metal about 2 feet. Wanted to know if anyone has had luck with a SPECIFIC location; perhaps under the luggage area? Also looking for a nice location for the OAT sensor i.e. away from engine heat and sun. And as long as I'm at it, I see that my transponder antenna is suppose to be at least 3 feet from the unit itself which eliminates putting it thru the floor in front of the spar. Ideas? Thanks, John

Hi John,
I had placed my OAT sensor just below the foot pedals and on the opposite
side from the exhaust. The Transponder antenna went behind the seats belly
skin center.
Works fine. Neither was hard to route to these points.
