On my 601 HD, the Dynon mag is located at the extreme rear of the baggage compartment above the floor with an alum cover.  It works great and agrees with the wet compass.  The transponder antenna is located in the short stub of the right wing (HD) to get it as far away from people as possible while keeping the cable short.  My OAT is under the saddle to keep it out of direct sunlight and still open to outside air.  The wires run though a conduit from the tail to the baggage area.  Works well.
