Happy Thanksgiving!
Occasionally in the App Store on my iPad I look at the Genius suggestions. Today it suggested iCircuit (https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/icircuit/id383359044?mt=8), an electronic circuit design app. Much more than simple circuit diagramming, the app simulates the operation of virtual circuits you put together.

I wonder if anybody here has tried this or similar apps, and would they be useful (along with a basic textbook) to an electronic noobie to learn some electronic circuit design?

Not too specific for a typical aircraft panel, but is a freebie while you search --

It's certainly easy to get started. Thanks for the link!
