Thanks for the insight, I'll have to pull the cowl, and check for leaks. That sounds like the likely scenario. Dave, it could easily be that when I noticed it the 2nd time that it had already spiked (to 29) and had dropped to 26 before I noticed it.

With a leak at cruise altitude, you wouldn't read 29". It would be lower because of altitude. 26" could have been the outside Pressure at your altitude.
