Scott, good idea. I have used wet red clay as a cold pak to protect threads and such when welding. Also protects from metal splatter. Course you folks up north may not have any red clay ?? I get mine from the back yard. I heard from Ron D that he received his LRI from you. Are you still making them ? I have a new hole in my panel and an AOA LRI would be a fine addition.
