I have been doing business with LyCon since 1999. I've been trying to get my engine for over a year now. I'm not sure if I'd recommend them for an engine.
I have a customer that will need an engine in 6 months to a year. I don't want the aggravation of dealing with a company that doesn't return calls or emails.
Any suggestions on who builds a good performance engine?

Gary Vogt.
You should get into that. Sounds like plenty of room for competition
There's a guy that does flow porting and valve jobs near Denver. He is reasonable. Just run your new cylinders out thru him and assemble the engine yourself.
The Lyc is as simple as a VW simpler than a Corvair as you know.
