I was reviewing the Lightning website for updates as well as recently posted reviews on the web, and came across a recently uploaded interview with Dan Johnson (Dec 12th).
While both typically informative and of general interest, I was drawn to the discussion regarding the FAA LSA audit conducted in the earlier part of the year. Firstly congratulations on the outcomes of this audit. Although there may not be any letter or glossy certificate issued by the esteemed agency, the results achieved with minimal affect to Arion Aircraft LLC’s business operating practices speak to the level of effort and compliance with the legislation that you and the Arion team have achieved.
As you’re probably aware many other countries take their lead from the FAA’s mandates and activities, in varying degrees. As a potential customer this gives me added confidence in the product and the company representing it.
A worthy Christmas gift well deserved and wishing you a happy holidays season.
