|
|
Gentlemen:
I’m replacing the landing gear bungee cords on my Kitfox II. Some of you are using the Clamp-Tite tool to form and secure the end loops. I’m getting un-even tension on the safety wire “bundles” (.040). http://www.clamptitetools.com/
How many turns of wire are you using on each bundle?
How many bundles are you using to secure the end loops?
Are you using anything to keep the wire from damaging the bungee cord (tape, for instance)?
Many thanks.
