Happy days are here again, the Phoenix has flow .5 hours today 4 landings
(3 good, one bouncer). Put her away with the high tech engine heater, 100
watt trouble light below the oil pan and a quilt over the cowl,
no chimneys, keeps it 60 degrees under the cowl in my hangar.
The winds picked up this afternoon and is the only reason I put her away
the 2850cc pulls real good, more details as the break in progresses.

Yesterday it flew 2.1 hours with 6 landings (all good ones), the CHT at the GM boss is reading 320-350 on the right bank and 300-320 on the left bank at climb out in 27F ambient temperature. They both are 300 or less at cruise now.
The oil temp only went up to 170F degrees. I am planning on getting more oil temp by blocking off the Niagara cooler.
