Guys,

  

 What are your Vx, Vy, and best glide speeds?  My Kiftox II is 15 years  old and I’m doing maintenance on it at home during the winter months here in  MN.  I’m thinking of re-calibrating these values next spring...

I've got Vx = 53 MIAS, Vy = 57 MIAS, and Vbg = 55 MIAS, with a glide of 

600'/NM. Note that rate of descent keeps improving right to stall.

That's almost 9:1 glide ratio, not too bad.  Is that with the engine off or idling.  I found the KF3 would glide like a brick at idle but when the engine shut off the glide seemed to improve drastically.  But I was only 700' agl so I didn't take any measurements.
