Was wondering how hard it would be to replace a 582 with a 912 on a Mark III?
Just curious as to the level of difficulty....

The 912 and 582 bolt up the same.
Kolb Aircraft can provide parts and technical advice.
I initially powered my mkIII with a 582, then repowered with
912. Was a little more difficult to transition back then.
We had to design engine mounts, radiator and oil cooler
mounts, exhaust system, and reverse throttle control
geometry. The 582 pulls throttle open. The 912 pulls
throttle closed.
Was worth the effort.
