I was looking for a leak (or leaks) in my pitot static lines. From the pitot tube, I traced these lines to the wing cover between outer and inner wing panels where the lines went to the very leading edge of the inner wing panel. I then removed the right interior side panel in the front cockpit but couldn't see where the lines entered the cockpit. By then it was dark so I quit. Before I continue, I thought I asked the list for your experience. Where should I look next? Remove right wing root fairing? Or, oil cooler air intake cover? Thanks in advance,Robin Hou

Robin,On the CJ there are only rubber hose connectors in a few places in the system IF you system is stock.  Starting from the pitot you have a pair of hose connectors at the rear of the pitot.  The next place where you may have a leak is in the plastic (check them for cracks as well as seal) condensation traps in the wing root.  Next check the connection between the wing and the fuse.  There are no other hose connections in the pitot system until you get to the instrument panel area.

Hope this helps
