Hi -
I am building a 701. I finally got to the point of riveting the
left wing skeleton together, and I am encountering a problem. Many
of the rivets are close to one or more flanges, such that it is
impossible to set the rivet tool at right angles to the work. I
tried going ahead and setting the rivets with the tool at an angle,
but I'm not very happy with the results.
Can anyone suggest a technique for setting these rivets? I would
really appreciate any insights.
If you feel that this does not warrant posting on the list, please
email me directly at caveman(at)pemtel.net.
Thanks ----

Mike, take a look at this discussion, on top of the page.
I made something like it and use several times in tight spots. Life saver.

Carlos
That is a really slick little tool. I could have used that a couple of times. Thank you for posting that.
