|
|
Hello All,
My XP came configured with a left/right two piece instrument panel setup.
The center armrest is extended forward of the seats and is attached both to the floor and the top of the fuselage just behind the instrument panel, forming an extended floor console just forward of the stick.
This effectively divides the instrument panel in two halves, well less than halves actually as the center console which is thus formed can only accommodate 3" instruments in a vertical configuration.
I don't have the build manuals so I am wondering if this is a standard configuration for the XP or is it a modification?... I've seen some pictures of other pulsars which seem not to have this "extended floor" console.
The construction is rather beefy in places which indicates a structural function, as implemented it does stiffen the hull on the longitudinal axis as well as improves torsional strength as well.
Thanks in advance,
M
