starter motor.
I want to install a separate starter button, i have purchased a press button switch, rated at 6 amps (at) 12 v and 6 amps (at) 250v
Is this OK.

Yep, that will be fine; your starter relay will draw 3-5 A and since you're
only drawing that for a couple of seconds at a time no problem. Be sure to
put a reverse biased diode across the coil of the starter relay as this will
prolong the life of your switch; if you're not sure how to do that I can
send you a diagram.
The diode short circuits the relay coil when you release the switch so that
the stored magnetic energy in the coil 'recirculates' in the coil and dies
down, rather than keeping an arc going across your switch contacts and
burning them.

Works great, comes from Newton, KS so no currency conversions.
You might also consider the Aeroelectric Connection also here on the Matronics forums. Bob has two proven electrical architectures for Rotax engined aircraft. Easier than inventing something new and Bob's book will give you great insight into how to efficiently herd electrons about.
