7V4-6 Flaperon Brackets

Hi All,

 

There is a flaperon bracket at ribs 1,3,4 and 6. Due to a confusing statement in the plan updates, I am trying to confirm where and how many A5 rivets are through these brackets. Is it only at Sta. 4 where the “Rear Upper Strut Support Bracket is? If so how many. I am guessing there is an extra hole in the station 4 flaperon bracket for the angles attaching the strut bracket.

Perry attached is a picture of station 4 and the rivet pattern from the plans. There is 11 A% rivets at this location.

Thanks. Is it your understanding that other than the A5’s directly related to the rear upper support bracket (RUSS) as shown in the picture and dwg, e.g in the bracket itself and in the L bracket on its outboard end, there are no other A5 rivets in the station 4 flaperon bracket (FB) or the remaining 3 flaperon brackets  at Sta. 1, 3, 6.  In the updates it “kind” of says change from A4 to A5 rivets for the brackets by putting an + instead of an O on the brackets, which I am still not clear on the convention for this in the drawing.
