 You may be right .We'll see.  I basically traded the weight of the slats for the wing extensions.  I'm non electric so no battery.  My prop is a relatively light wood prop. My panel is very basic VFR. I could go tubeless on the tires. If I go with minimal paint I might come close to an empty weight of 600#. A safer guess might be 600 # to 650 # since the little stuff does add up.

Hi Guys

anyone know of information or a kit to install a starter on

an A65 continental..My friend has the A65 on his

701 and has to hand crank it to get it going..Makes

it a little difficult if it stops in flight..Also he is looking

for a used set of bubble doors for the same unit.

Any information would be appreciated
