Join us for an interesting look at one of aviation’s more unique in progress restorations: The North American XP-82 Twin Mustang -- http://xp-82twinmustangproject.blogspot.com/p/home_17.html The story of the project is as interesting as the plane itself. We will gather Saturday, April 27th, 11am at the Douglas Municipal Airport (KDQH). Douglas is in South Georgia and not to be confused with Douglasville in N. Georgia. Tom Reilly and his team also have a B-17 under restoration plus a completed SNJ, C-47, Stearman and T-34 (all flyable). All, a must-see! Lunch will follow at the “Flying Cowboy” BBQ/ Steak house adjacent to the field. Be advised, our host advised us that on more than on one occasion, pilots have flown to the wrong airport to see the project. Please check your destination...KDQH. See you there!
