Hey Mike: After two episodes of lifter problems, two sets of new lifters, including new camshaft, I am in the middle of a top overhaul and conversion to solid lifters. (3300 SN 1712) I am putting in the original solid lifter camshaft, & intend to use Chevy small block solid lifters (.842 diameter) My engine has a total time of less than 430 hours & other problems I do not care to delve in to.
Each is on his/her own concerning our experimental Jabiru engines.

[b]I'm putting a call-out to see if anyone else is (or has already) undertaking
the project of CONVERTING AN EARLY HYDRAULIC LIFTER ENGINE
(supplied with the original solid-lifter cam) -- BACK TO SOLID LIFTERS.
I know of five others, but would like to see if there are more out there.
I will be going this route and am in the “information gathering” stage.
Thanks for the help,
Mike
